Gordon Freeman is a 27 year old Professor at MIT. he teaches The Theory of General Relativity , helps trains the MIT Engineers Football Team , and is a helping hand in creating props and running spotlights for their Theatre productions.

◜WHAT TO EXPECT ⠀⠀.. 10 years of roleplay / writing experience and just over a month as Gordon - with over two months in the HLVR:AI verse itself. a lot of this account is crack RP considering the nature of the show , but if it comes down to any serious topics I will do my best to respond accordingly ! ◜WARNINGS ⠀⠀.. There may be subtle mentions/jokes of suicidal tendencies, considering the things Gordon has said in the series - as well as some serious meltdowns if an interaction goes sideways. Gordon is kind of a live wire , extremely emotional , and lets those feelings control him. He can and will say a lot of shit he doesn't mean. ◜SHIPPING ⠀⠀.. will require a lot of chemistry. This Gordon is a single-ship , be it monogamous or non-monogamous. ◜PHYSICAL TRAITS : ⠀⠀ 6'2" (188 cm/1.88 m) ,195 lbs. broad shoulders , narrow hips , with a fairly muscular build and medium beige skin. Ash brown hair , with a surprisingly well kept circle beard. Has a scar on his right hand in the shape of a deep bite with predatory teeth , and another scar higher up his forearm near his elbow where his hand had been rejoined with his body. Is covered in moles and beauty marks - the most notable being one under his left eye and on his left cheek , then one just beneath his cheek bone on the right side of his face. the rest are scattered along his arms , shoulders , and some on his legs.
◜EDUCATION / ORGANIZATION : ⠀⠀ Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a Ph.D in Theoretical Physics , titled his Thesis “Observation of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entanglement on Supraquantum Structures by Induction Through Nonlinear Transuranic Crystal of Extremely Long Wavelength (ELW) Pulse from Mode-Locked Source Array”. After graduating , Gordon begins a search for a job that may sate his hunger for knowledge. finding no luck in Austria , he’s brought to Black Mesa. there he owns a Level 3 Research Associate position and is assigned to Black Mesa's Anomalous Materials Department - doing nuclear, subatomic, and quantum research.
◜PSYCHOLOGICAL REPORT : ⠀⠀ Freeman is the definition of a live wire , keen and aware of his surroundings with worrying (and seemingly exhausting) precision. it is safe to assume he has very deeply rooted trauma in the wake of the Resonance Cascade , in which he reacts with one extreme or the other - though is typically done through a slew of anger. it’s natural , it’s survival. he seems to live on instincts , despite maintaining a front of being one of our most successful scientists and a father , he’s still violent and perhaps not healthy enough to be either. he’s very easily frustrated and doesn’t seem to realize how loud and stentorian he can be when he feels as if he’s been even slightly threatened. prior to the known situation that led to this report , Freeman was a diligent employee of Black Mesa. though his sleeping habits had become a concern , he always got his work done and was always hungry to get their next study in motion. he often was talked about as if he “lived like there was no tomorrow” , doing everything with a passionate fervor that was not always met with equal excitement. Freeman has brought that same determination to the table even after the big ... debacle. albeit with a vicious sense of change. he holds himself , as expected , with less passion and instead seems to cling to this routine as if it were a life line. we’ve kept him firmly upon a demanding schedule - with plenty of hours to keep him out of his own mind. though that’s only temporary , we will have to do something about the ticking time bomb he is - and soon. Throughout the recounting of the Resonance Cascade , it’s no surprise Freeman has adopted a stronger parental instinct - and desire to protect those he’s grown close to. he was a make-shift leader , and very well was one of the reasons his ragtag team had managed to escape. we’ve seen his closeness with others outside of his original “team” , which is promising. Some known as Beezie and Maribo are positive influence candidates that can and should be watched. it’s critical he continues upon this path , otherwise we may have to step in to recover his psyche. that is all i have thus far concerning Freeman. This is a living document and will be updated as we see improvements or declines.
